Summer Boot Camps

This is a concentrated training session to provide extra training to students at all ages and levels while allowing them the opportunity to advance at an accelerated rate

Assistant Instructor Courses Starting at the Green Belt Level, this course provides the fundamental tools and training for students that are interested in assisting their instructors and thinking about becoming an instructor one day. This course is a prerequisite to achieve the rank of Red Belt.

Buddy Events

We host several buddy or friend themed events throughout the year. These include but are not limited to: safety seminars, buddy awareness events, stranger danger classes, board breaking classes, pizza parties and many more. This allows our students to invite their friends, for free, to experience a little bit of why martial arts is such an integral part of their life, while having some fun at the same time.

Annual Beach Party

In the summer season we like to gather everyone and have a beach party. This helps to encourage social interaction amongst our entire student body and allows students and instructors to interact in an environment outside of the dojo, while having some fun. Events like this have helped to establish very long lasting friendships for both our students and our parents.

Parents Night Out

These events are designed to allow parents a few hours at night to enjoy dinner, a movie or just some quiet time. This can involve but is not limited to a pizza and movie night, dojo sleepover, night classes or seminars and more. If you are looking for a safe environment for your kids, a reliable sitter at a low cost, keep your eyes open for these events throughout the year.

Annual Anniversary and Awards Banquet

Each and every year around January, which is the month of our opening, we gather for our largest and most popular event of the year. Our banquet is a semi-formal event that is open to all students and their families. We have awards that are presented to students and staff, a DJ, dinner, dancing, martial art demonstrations, cake, coffee and much more. This is like a wedding without the bride and groom. This is a great way to celebrate not only our anniversary but also the strength and passion of our dojo family.

Charity Events

We usually participate actively in at least three charity events per year. Our largest takes place during Thanksgiving, then we host a blood drive with the Red Cross in December and then in the Spring we host a fundraiser for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

In addition, we are proud to sponsor local little league, cheerleading, wrestling teams as well as local events and charities in our area. We have been written up in local and national media outlets for our amazing commitment to the martial arts and our community. It is our honor to promote this environment at our dojo as it’s the true essence of being a martial artist or a “Black Belt in Life.”

Family Classes

Throughout the year we host events with Mom or Dad, as well as getting parents involved in our daily classes to actively participate in their child’s training. This is something that are parents always look forward to.

Annual Family Picnic

Each year we like to thank our students and families for their support of our dojo. We select a local state park to go to and we provide our students and their families with food, beverages, games, races and a great social atmosphere. This is an excellent event and is a highlight for our Dojo every year.
