Our Martial arts Facility located in Jackson, New Jersey

Our modern, 2000 square foot facility offers our students a full service pro shop, a full service front desk, automated attendance scanning, a full and open section for spectator viewing, a private office for meetings, 1000 square foot of Olympic quality mat space as well as the highest quality training equipment and tools available to the martial arts industry.

New mat space and wall mats We have just added over 350 Square foot of mat space and now have over 1100 SQ FT of mat space. We also have just added 30’ x 6’ wall mats for all of our classes and MMA!
Our Location/Store Front The Karate Dojo is proud to be a part of Jackson Crossings Shopping Center which is a full service shopping center featuring a variety of service stores, restaurants and as well as national, name brand store fronts.  Our unique center is top of the line and would make any student proud to train here and even visit the center frequently in their time off.
Our Front Desk and Greeting Area Here at our front desk, is where a majority of your communication with the staff takes place.  This is also where our automated, photo ID attendance  scanner is located, where all students check in prior to class.  As an added value to our facility we also provide healthy beverages, protein/meal replacement bars, merchandise & at home training tools for sale.  In addition, parents are able to credit their child’s account with an “allowance” that can be used with their photo id in exchange for beverages or other merchandise.  This convenience allows parents not to worry about their child loosing any money. In addition we are a vendor with Century Martial Arts (the largest supplier in the world) and can place custom orders on thousands of items.
Pro-Shop Students love to show their pride in their dojo just like wearing their school colors. Not only do we provide regular training gear but we also have a fully licensed merchandising area. Here you can purchase items with our logo as well as American Top Team’s logo on a variety of T-shirts, hats, sweatshirts, duffel bags, tank tops, yoga pants, beanies and much more. We feature new items every Winter and Summer to keep our students excited and our pro shop fresh. Spectator Area We have an open seating and standing area for all family and guests to observe classes in session with a clear view. We do not believe in putting up a wall or glass to block out our spectators. We want our guests to see and hear everything that happens on our dojo floor so that they can truly appreciate every aspect of their loved ones training. We also have a fully carpeted seating area so that children may sit, play quietly, do homework and observe class. All we ask is for everyone to shut off their cell phones and refrain from speaking loudly while classes are in session.
Private Office Our Asian influenced roof covers our private office and helps to set the atmosphere when you first walk into The Karate Dojo. Here is where we do a lot of our work of course but it’s also utilized throughout the week to meet with parents and students, in a private venue, for a variety of needs and services. It is our mission to provide the highest quality of customer service for our dojo family. Our staff is always available to speak with you by appointment and we not only love but encourage an open and honest dialog with each other.
Clothes and Equipment Area We provide our students with space to hang all jackets, custom made cubbies for shoes and equipment bags as well as shelves for other valuables. This is for when students are in class only and all items should be removed after each class is over. This provides our students with a clean and safe area to keep there training gear and clothing while training at our Dojo.
Training Area/Mat Our mat features a mirror that covers the full length of our training floor to allow students to evaluate their technique while they train. Our student’s safety is our #1 priority. That’s why we invested in the best martial arts flooring system available today. The Swain Gold Medal Tatami Mat is the ultimate flooring system. The first true mat developed for the martial arts industry, this mat system is the champion's choice all over the world, and has been used as the official martial arts mat of the Olympic Games. Our SportsMat's traditional rice-straw textured vinyl provides a high performance surface to grip and glide without stickiness. We use “Kenclean” from Kennedy industries, daily. This product kills the germs athletes need killed – MRSA, Ringworm, AIDS, Herpes Simplex, Staph, Strep, Hepatitis B & C! It the only disinfectant/cleaner recommended by Resilite SPORT Products, the world’s largest mat manufacturer. In today’s environment of drug resistant bacteria, super staph, viruses and fungi, you have to do all you can to protect your team. As always, The Karate Dojo never settles for 2nd best and we insist on a clean, sanitary and safe training environment 100% of the time.
Training Accessories In order to work at your highest potential and achieve the rank of Black Belt and beyond a student requires the proper training tools. At The Karate Dojo we utilize some of the best training tools throughout class. We also make everything available to our students during their open mat practice. This includes, body shields, square hand targets, double focus mitts, leather focus mitts, leather Muay Thai training pads, XXL Wavemaster Heavy Bags, various height speed bags and a Versaflex stretching machine. We are always investing back into our dojo and in our students. We will continue to keep top quality training tools and purchase new, innovative equipment to assure that we are providing our students with only the best.
Bathrooms The Karate Dojo features two, coed, ceramic tiled and handicap accessible bathrooms. These may also be used to change into your uniform or back into your regular clothes.
